With National Ice Cream Day approaching, we took it upon ourselves to search Boston for the best spots to get a scoop or four! If you’re like a lot of New Englanders, the urge to get a cold treat at 8pm has come in full force! Combat Boston’s summer heat with the sweet treats at these unique spots, some of which have been around over 50 years!

Boston Ice Cream Factory

Gourmet ice cream has been a long time specialty of founder Steve Cirame starting 20 years ago with his opening of Christina’s in Inmans Square, Cambridge. Now he is serving up adult options infused with alcohol alongside your favorite ice creams. Whether you try Barbados Breeze made with Malibu Rum and Blue Curacao, or the Mud Slide made with Baileys, Khalua and Vodka you are sure to be pleasantly surprised!
