A local favorite, and also a vegan option, [FōMū] ice cream is made from scratch with carefully sourced, plant-based ingredients. Their signature ice creams are made with coconut milk and a blend of organic, natural sweeteners. If you want a dessert that is natural, preservative-free and made by hand, with no shortcuts order a pint for delivery, or head to a cafe to take out sundaes. It will never be too chilly for ice cream!

A dessert round up in Boston wouldn’t be complete without a nod to the Boston Creme Pie, Massachusetts’ official state dessert. The Boston Cream Pie was invented at the Omni Parker House, in the heart of Downtown and located along the Freedom Trail. Even though it’s called a pie, it’s actually a cake. Two layers of sponge cake, with a custard cream filling, topped with chocolate ganache. The Boston Cream Pie from The Omni Parker House has the perfect ration of custard to cake, and has just the right amount of sweetness.
