Member Spotlight: Kyle Zene - Moore

We first met Kyle in 2021, when he attended one of our first in person networking events since quarantine (at The Palm of course) “and I was so impressed that I decided to become a member shortly after. “ True to his Instagram handle, @Ihustlehouses, Kyle is working hard 24/7, but he and his team are committed to never missing a moment in life, business, or at our events.

Let’s get to know Kyle Zene - Moore!

What are your current responsibilities and background?

As part of my daily responsibilities, I oversee the smooth running of our company's operations and provide support and training to my team. This encompasses managing real estate sales, leasing, and property management, in addition to serving my own clients. As far as background, I was born and raised in Boston, MA. I attended The O'bryant High and then Northeastern University, where I studied marketing. To stay current with the latest industry trends and regulations, I consistently seek out educational opportunities. This allows me to offer the most up-to-date advice and services to my clients.

Tell us more about your job or company - what led you to this focus?

My Company, Zander Realty Group, is a full service real estate brokerage and property management company. We are in our third year of business &  we service buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in MA, RI & GA. My passion for real estate began at a young age when my mom purchased our first home. Witnessing the process of buying property and watching how my mom was able to leverage it, gave me an understanding of the incredible impact homeownership can have on people’s lives.  Now, I’m fortunate to be able to help others achieve their dreams of homeownership and assist them in investing wisely.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Or a mantra you live by?

“If you want to be successful in this world, you have to follow your passion, not a paycheck.” -Shawn Carter

What advice would you give someone just starting in your industry?

  • Build your network: Real estate is a relationship-based industry, so it's essential to build a network of clients, colleagues, and other industry professionals. Attend local events, join industry groups, and get involved in your community to expand your network.

  • Stay up-to-date on market trends: Real estate markets can be volatile and subject to fluctuations, so staying up-to-date on market trends is crucial to success. Subscribe to industry publications, attend local real estate events, and talk to other professionals in the industry to stay informed.

  • Get a mentor or coach: Starting a career in real estate can be challenging, and having a mentor can help you navigate the industry and accelerate your learning curve. A mentor can provide you with valuable insights, guidance, and support as you develop your skills and build your business.

What are three things you like to do in your free time?

  • Go out with friends ( Concerts, comedy shows, etc..)

  • Travel (Domestic or International)

  • Try out different restaurants

In the BostonYPA Community

How has this affiliation helped your career?

Since I joined BYPA, I've had the opportunity to meet some amazing people at their events. Not only have I connected with potential clients, but I've also made some fantastic referral partners in my industry who have become great friends. Joining BYPA has been such a game-changer for me!

What do you enjoy most about being a member?

The staff is incredible - they're so dedicated to the group, and it really shows. They're a huge part of what makes the association so enjoyable to be a part of. The events they organize are always amazing and bring together a fantastic crowd.

For those young professionals looking to possibly join, why should they join?

Joining Boston Young Professional Association (BYPA) is a great way to meet new people, develop your skills, and engage with the Boston community. If you're searching for a job or just to make a professional connection, it's definitely worth adding to your list!

What would you like BYPA professionals to know about you/your business?

In addition to running Zander Realty Group, I'm also currently serving on the board of directors for GBAR, which is the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS. I also volunteer to be a part of a few committees there, including the Professional Standards Committee, the Forms Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee. It's been a busy but fulfilling experience, and I'm excited to continue making a positive impact in the Boston community.
